DXA Reporting Specialist Clinical Technologist

Job Overview
This is a 12-month secondment position established as an interim measure while the department goes through workforce planning and organisational change. The successful candidate will be ensuring that DXA reporting is performed in a timely manner, meeting departmental KPIs.
Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will undertake DXA image validation, evaluation and reporting, and will participate in departmental leadership and management duties in conjunction with key senior staff. The workload will include DXA reporting (approximately 40%), working clinically in any of NM imaging sections (approximately 40%), and service management in their sub-section specialist area (approximately 20%).

Person Specification
- BSc Degree in Nuclear Medicine or Diagnostic Radiography or Nursing
- MSc in relevant specialist area or equivalent experience
- Professional Registration (RCT/HCPC/NMC)
- Completed ROS national training scheme for DXA
Desirable Criteria
- Management Qualification
- Post Graduate Qualification in DXA Reporting
Experience
- Extensive experience in DXA scanning and image validation
- Extensive experience in DXA reporting
- Extensive experience in Diagnostic Radiography or Nuclear Medicine or FLS
- Experience in training or mentoring of junior staff and students
Skills
- Listed examples of effective leadership and management skills
