Job Description Summary

As a Product and Support Engineer at GE Aerospace & CFM, you will be at the forefront of aviation innovation, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of some of the most advanced engines in the air. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company, one troubleshooting recommendation at a time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the installed base, including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, and monitoring & diagnostics.
  2. Develop and maintain fleet data, outage management, and provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams.
  3. Present and support technical and program reviews, and develop field action plans to anticipate and fix field problems.
  4. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with industry and government regulations, engineering policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in services/installed base engineering.
  3. Engine system level knowledge.
  4. Demonstrated business technical written and oral communication skills in English.
  5. Ability to communicate with external customers and Senior Leadership.
  6. Experience on presenting technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
  8. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence others.
Desired Characteristics
  1. Master's degree in related field with experience relevant to indicated position areas of expertise and knowledge of related disciplines.
  2. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  4. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
