About Our Home

At Gold Care Homes, we are dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.


The Activities Coordinator will play a vital role in planning and organizing activities for all residents in our home, at various times during the day. This will include facilitating outings and events, as well as supporting and enabling participation in activities that promote social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being.



Key Responsibilities

  • Bulding strong relationships with residents to support their adjustment to life in a care home.
  • Delivering high-quality personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner.
  • Communicating effectively with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operation of the role and high levels of co-operation.
  • Recording information accurately to a satisfactory standard, agreeing the type and quantity of record keeping with the manager on a monthly basis.
  • Ensuring the individual rights of residents and staff are safeguarded in accordance with the Home's philosophy of care.
  • Maintaining client, staff, and business confidentiality at all times.
  • Planning daytime and evening activities.
  • Maintaining awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Coordinating the activities program with other services in the facility.
  • Assessing resident needs and developing resident activities goals for the written care plan.
  • Encouraging resident participation in activities and documenting outcomes.
  • Working individually and within the team to provide the necessary backup for all staff.
  • Observing and maintaining high levels of communication within the teams of staff, individual colleagues, and residents.
  • Always maintaining client and business confidentiality.
  • Carrying out any additional duties as requested.
  • Undertaking any additional training and development programmes the Home may consider appropriate to enhance your contribution to the work at this home.
