Security Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Security Support Officer to join our team at ABM. As a Regional Security Support Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting our colleagues on multiple sites, providing a high level of security and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol commercial and retail sites to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
- Monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent potential security threats.
- Act as a deterrent against anti-social behavior and provide a visible presence on site.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to customers and visitors.
- Perform reception and barrier duties, including checking identification and controlling access to restricted areas.
- Complete administrative tasks, including report writing and maintaining Daily Occurrence Logs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of fire systems and security patrol systems.
- Support on-site teams as directed by the Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
- SIA and CCTV licenses.
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
- A full five-year checkable employment/education history.
- Experience in customer service is desirable.
- Good organizational skills and excellent time management.
- Must be robust and flexible.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Well-presented and high grooming standards.
- Outgoing and friendly with a can-do attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in corporate/retail security.
- First Aid and Fire Warden certification.
