Safety and Security Specialist

Become a vital part of the security team at Securitas Security Services, a renowned provider in the security industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Safety and Security Specialist to enhance our operations. This position entails a structured schedule of 5 days on followed by 2 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off, ensuring a minimum of 42 hours weekly.
As a proficient Safety and Security Specialist with at least 3 years of relevant experience, your proactive mindset, approachable nature, and supportive attitude will be crucial to our mission. If you already hold SC clearance or can obtain it, you are the perfect fit for this role.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will encompass:
- Welcoming all personnel, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Adapting swiftly to changing priorities and situations.
- Preventing unauthorized access to the premises.
- Monitoring alarm systems and surveillance equipment.
- Conducting regular patrols and security checks.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, documenting and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining accurate records and logbooks, ensuring timely completion of all documentation.
- Reporting any faults, safety hazards, or unsafe practices to management.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by management.
- Providing guidance and information to all personnel while safeguarding the premises.
- Remaining vigilant to identify and deter any suspicious activities.
- Managing incidents as they occur.
- Valid SIA Licence
- Ability to commute reasonably (or possess a driving licence)
- Minimum of 3 years in a security role
- SC clearance, or capability to obtain it
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A verifiable five-year employment history or documentation of any unemployment periods
