Join our team as a Contract Administration Manager and play a crucial role in supporting scientific staff at the Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell. In this exciting role, you will work closely with researchers to manage research contracts and agreements, ensuring that all activities are facilitated and protected.

About Our Team:

Our team provides advice on research ethics and governance policies, and supports external funding applications, collaborative research, material exchange, and studies requiring ethical approval. We are committed to delivering high-quality research outcomes and ensuring that agreements are in line with expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Contract Administration Manager, your key responsibilities will include managing research grants and contracts, providing or reviewing draft agreements, and negotiating research contracts and agreements for all units at MRC Harwell. You will also identify and support due diligence, advise on risk and contractual issues, and ensure agreements are in line with expectations.

Your Qualifications:

We are looking for a degree-level qualification in either law or business administration, or equivalent experience in commercial contract preparation and administration in an academic or research and development environment. You should have relevant experience of contract drafting and management, and be interested in working in a dynamic scientific and innovative environment.
