Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Tender Engineer to join our client's internal sales and tendering team at their Teesside HQ. This role is crucial in supporting the external sales team, responding to customer enquiries, and preparing quotations and tenders, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry through to after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to customer inquiries across multiple channels, ensuring timely resolution of all sales enquiries.
- Support external sales efforts by attending customer site meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events, promoting our client's cutting-edge Power, Electrical & Automation solutions.
- Maintain and update our sales and opportunities database, providing valuable insights for management.
- Report to management on the status of tenders and sales opportunities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Assist in promoting projects across various marketing platforms, leveraging our client's innovative technology and expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in sales and distribution of electrical & automation equipment, with a strong understanding of the Marine and Offshore Energy sectors.
- Knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies, with a focus on innovation and growth.
- A valid driving license, with a willingness to travel and attend customer site meetings.
