We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Tender Engineer to join our client's internal sales and tendering team at their Teesside HQ. This role is crucial in supporting the external sales team, responding to customer enquiries, and preparing quotations and tenders, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry through to after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries across multiple channels, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Log and manage sales enquiries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Support external sales efforts by attending customer site meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events, promoting our client's innovative technology solutions.
  • Maintain and update our sales and opportunities database, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Report to management on the status of tenders and sales opportunities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assist in promoting projects across various marketing platforms, highlighting our client's expertise in the Marine, Offshore & Energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in sales and distribution of electrical & automation equipment, with a strong understanding of the Marine and Offshore Energy sectors.
  • A valid driving license, with a willingness to travel for business purposes.
