Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursery Lead Practitioner - Level 3 to join our team at Bright Horizons Cramond Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating engaging activities that promote child development and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that cater to each child's individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of childcare services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on child progress and development
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
