About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Client Care Assistant to join our team at our St Albans Hospital. As a Client Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients and patients receive exceptional service throughout their time with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and the clinical team to provide effective customer service
  • Complete various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business
  • Promote our Pet Healthcare Plan
  • Meet and greet clients with a warm and welcoming smile
  • Book appointments and manage diaries
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries
  • Process payments for services and products
  • Manage cash, stock, and client accounts
  • Open and close the practice
  • Assist vets when staff are limited
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including:
    • Pet travel scheme paperwork and AHCs
    • Post-op calls and pre-op texts
    • Maintaining consult rooms
    • Uploading and printing lab results
    • Scanning paperwork
    • Meds collection texts
    • Inputting stock take (every 3 months)
    • Some restraining to help vets when staff are limited
Requirements
  • Experience in a reception or customer service role
  • IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook as a minimum
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • The ability to stay focused under pressure and multitask
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis
