Job Title:
Electrical Engineer

Our client, a reputable company in the industry, is seeking an electrical engineer to join their team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient environment within the company workshops and production units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to ensure maximum productivity and performance.
  • Engage in project work, including machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive a safe culture and eliminate safety risks.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering background and full qualification.
  • Industrial/Manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering diagrams.
  • Training in PLC systems beneficial (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and SCADA systems).
  • Experience of electrical drive and control systems is beneficial.
