As a Technical Author, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality documentation for our software tools, ensuring that our users have the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for our software tools, including user guides, reference guides, and technical articles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that all necessary information is present and accurate.
  • Work closely with product teams to develop product knowledge and ensure that documentation meets company standards.
  • Provide and receive critical feedback on work to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently, with exceptional organization and time management skills.
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in technical writing for complex software applications.
  • Excellent written English, with accurate editing and proofreading skills, and demonstrable experience in writing documentation.
  • Good grasp of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood instruction and compelling value.
  • Familiarity with VFX terminology and concepts, enabling clear and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Strong project management skills, organizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
