We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Acute Frailty Service.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development and implementation of our Acute Frailty Service strategy, working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Contribute to the multidisciplinary team, providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Develop and deliver teaching programs for medical students and junior staff, promoting excellence in geriatric medicine.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement service development initiatives, improving patient outcomes and experiences.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, meeting the dynamic needs of an expanding older population.
- MRCP or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Higher specialist training in Geriatrics and G(I)Medicine.
- Broad experience in Geriatrics and G(I)M, including experience in Acute Frailty Services.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and other agencies.
