Transforming Education for Vulnerable Learners

We are seeking experienced SEN/SEND tutors to join our team at Targeted Provision in Nottinghamshire. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. With a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and professional qualifications, you will be able to provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring services to meet the unique needs of each young person.

As a SEN/SEND tutor, you will work closely with our dedicated support team to ensure every placement is a success for both the young person and yourself. You will also have access to extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite, to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging sessions that meet the needs and advance the educational and social-emotional journey of each young person
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
