Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Site Operations Technician to join our team at RAF High Wycombe. As a Site Operations Technician, you will be responsible for the operational control of an allocated shift team for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the site electrical/mechanical/building services plant & equipment and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and testing electrical/mechanical/building services systems.
  2. Investigate and repair faults in electrical/mechanical/building services systems.
  3. Liaise with other teams to ensure efficient delivery of work activities and compliance with performance standards.
  4. Operate and maintain engineering systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and JSP 375, Vol 3.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. NVQ 2/3, ONC/D or equivalent in a building services, engineering, or related discipline.
  2. Work experience in a MOD environment and compliance with Safe Systems of Work (JSP 375, Vol 3).
  3. Experience of working to Critical Engineering Risk Management protocols.
  4. Experience of HV/LV electrical systems, large UPS, and generator systems.
