Highways Asset Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced Asset/Project Manager to join our client's Highways and Structures team, working on projects around the M25 and surrounding areas.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the management of records, data, planning, and control, network management, and asset management. You will also oversee the inventory and implementation of company policies with a focus on Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental issues.

  • Monitor current assets, identify future maintenance needs, and develop sustainable proposals for renewals.
  • Manage the programme of inventory, structures, and pavement inspections.
  • Develop a Schemes Database for proposal.
  • Collate records on Network condition, inventory, and improvement for both infrastructure and road users.
  • Produce and monitor inspection programmes on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out by subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with materials performance and road construction techniques, as well as working knowledge of Highway Maintenance Activities is essential.

With a minimum of 10 years experience in Highways maintenance, you will hold a HNC/HND in Construction or Civil Engineering. Benefits include a salary of £45,000 - £55,000, car allowance, pension contributions, and private healthcare.
