Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geoscience Consultant to join our UXO site operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. As a primary liaison for clients throughout project lifecycles, you will provide continuous operational support and ensure the production of high-quality deliverables. You will also offer technical advice, manage information and data flow, and play a key role in supporting the bidding phase and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing ongoing operational support.">
  • Produce and present geological and technical reports, including project-specific certifications and specifications.">
  • Offer technical advice and guidance to the geophysical team, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.">
  • Assist with technical guidance during the bidding phase.">
  • Monitor survey data acquisition and manage quality assurance.">
  • Attend client meetings online and in person within the UK and occasionally internationally, maintaining and nurturing relationships through frequent communication.">
  • Identify new opportunities, support business development, and pitch services to potential customers.">
  • Provide clear leadership and task coordination, including mentoring or developing junior team members.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you should possess at least five to seven years of relevant work experience with large offshore geophysical survey campaigns. Familiarity with the UXO risk management industry, including survey and clearance techniques, is highly advantageous. A strong understanding of the offshore energy industry and its needs is essential.

You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proven experience in managing and ensuring data quality, and experience in project management or leadership roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, team members, and regulatory authorities, are also required.

What We Offer

">

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development. This role is based in our Hethel, Norwich office, with occasional international travel.
