Fractional CFO for VC Backed Food Business

Harmonic Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fractional CFO to join our client, a rapidly scaling and Venture Capital backed Food & Beverage business in London. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving growth through strategic financial planning and analysis.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in start-up and scale-up environments. You will be responsible for setting the financial and commercial strategy, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and acting as a true business partner to the CEO. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovative efficiencies and process improvement, ensuring robust controls are in place, and supporting investor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Setting the financial and commercial strategy and identifying strategic growth opportunities.
- Acting as a true business partner to the CEO.
- Owning key analysis with financial modelling and scenario planning.
- Manage the FP&A capabilities, including setting the annual budget, long-term planning.
- Support with investor relations.
- Driving innovative efficiencies and process improvement.
- Ensuring robust controls are in place.
- Ad-hoc projects.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Start-up/Scale-up experience
- PE/VC experience
- Omnichannel Retail experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
As a Fractional CFO with Harmonic Group Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and values-led organisation, driving growth and innovation in the food and beverage industry. We offer a competitive day rate of £800-950, and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a rapidly scaling business.
