About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Spire Healthcare. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality housekeeping service to all departments and areas within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient rooms are ready for admissions and in-patient rooms are serviced daily
  • Clean and maintain departments and public areas to the highest standards
  • Comply with daily and weekly cleaning schedules and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Be flexible and adaptable to accommodate changes and priorities
  • Support nursing staff to ensure patient rooms are ready for admission
  • Assist other team members and provide occasional supervision to less experienced staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is desirable, but not essential
  • No formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided
  • Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of working on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
