Clinical Coding Department Lead

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Coding Lead and Senior Clinical Coder to join our team at North Thames Genomics Laboratory Hub. The estimated salary range is £32,000 - £45,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have extensive coding experience within an acute NHS Trust, as well as significant experience of working with Computers and NHS PAS systems.
Key responsibilities- Mentor and train less experienced staff.
- Develop and implement coding standards.
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate coding practices.
- A minimum of 3 GCSE passes (or equivalent).
- IHRIM ACC Qualification (NVQ level 3 equivalent).
- Significant experience of working to strict deadlines.
