Job Title: Strategic Planning Manager



The Strategic Planning Manager will lead the planning function on allocated projects/tenders, ensuring that projects/tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored. They will be responsible for project budgets and ensure operations are fiscally and ethically viable and meet organisational and legislative compliance obligations.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the planning function on allocated projects/tenders, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Responsible for project budgets and ensure operations are fiscally and ethically viable and meet organisational and legislative compliance obligations.
  • Support the operations director and other senior stakeholders to directly influence long-term development of strategy for a function or business unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
  • Commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values.


Requirements:




  • Exposure of working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale civil engineering/infrastructure projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.
  • Strong management skills and talent development.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the client and other project stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Significant experience in the use of planning techniques in a range of multi-disciplinary sectors.
  • Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
