Senior Firmware Development Lead
About the Role
EngineeringUK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Development Lead to join its team. As a key member of the software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of firmware for Ring's camera-centric devices, ensuring high-performance, reliability, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#, experience in software development, including architecture and design patterns, reliability, and scaling, as well as leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Leading the development of firmware for camera devices.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver camera-centric devices.
  3. Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring code quality, adhering to coding standards, and participating in code reviews.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in professional software development.
Salary: £120,000 - £140,000 per annum
