Principal Acoustics Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Principal Acoustics Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for acoustics and environmental consulting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in acoustics and environmental consulting, with experience in noise and vibration assessment, computer modeling, and project management. You will be responsible for leading projects, developing relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and teams to deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify business opportunities and grow the business
  • Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues and clients to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., acoustics, physics, engineering) and a strong background in acoustics and environmental consulting
  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and client relationship development
  • Excellent technical skills, including noise and vibration assessment, computer modeling, and project management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
