Acoustic Consultant

Our company, RPS Group, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Acoustic Consultant to join our Acoustics Team in the UK. As a key player in our Air Quality & Noise Team, you will work on projects that create shared value in a complex, urbanising world. You will have the opportunity to develop advanced expertise in one or more specialist areas of acoustics consultancy, enhancing your skills and enabling you to develop and shape your career as you progress. The ideal candidate will be technically sound across main environmental acoustics areas, including noise and vibration assessment, monitoring, and computer modelling techniques. You will also be numerically proficient and IT literate in mapping, acoustic modelling, and ideally, AutoCAD. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good financial and project management skills, are essential. You will also need to have strong influencing and communication skills to build, maintain, and consolidate working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external bodies. Some travel may be involved, so a full clean UK driving license is required.
