About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Acoustics Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Acoustics Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality acoustics consultancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their acoustics needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments, and provide expert advice on acoustic design specifications.
  • Manage projects within agreed budgets and deliver results within specified timelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with current methods, legislation, procedures, and standards in environmental acoustics.
Requirements
  • Senior/Principal level experience in acoustics consultancy.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Technical expertise in noise and vibration assessment, monitoring, and computer modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good financial and project management skills, with experience of managing budgets and delivering results within specified timelines.
