Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational, and governance-based medicine management service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the pharmacy team in the procurement, receipt, and distribution of medicines to all areas of the hospital.
  • Contribute to the stock management of medicines within the hospital, ensuring accurate and timely charging.
  • Provide a dispensing service for medicines that may be required, working closely with the pharmacy team.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy service, including the management of medicines and supplies.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician on the General Pharmaceutical Council register.
  • Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics, and Performance and their implications for practice.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.
