About the Role

Bloomsbury Football is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Futsal Coach to join our team. As the lead coach, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our futsal program, including player development, team training, and tactical preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Player Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for players of all skill levels, focusing on technical skill development, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
  • Team Training: Conduct regular team practices, providing individualized coaching and feedback to players to enhance their performance and development.
  • Team Environment: Foster a positive and supportive team environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other coaching staff and management to coordinate team activities, schedules, and logistics.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and developments in futsal coaching and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and role model for players, instilling values of discipline, dedication, and integrity.
  • Communication: Maintain a high level of stakeholder communication with players, parents, and other futsal clubs.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the sports sector.
  • A proven track record of developing players and achieving success at the team level.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and inspire players.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with players, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions during matches.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage team schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment.
Requirements
  • A Level 1 football and/or futsal qualification.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to assess player performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • A willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel for matches and tournaments as needed.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (not essential).
