Job Title: Female Support Worker - Bank

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Aspirations Care Ltd. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to adults with mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals in improving their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Offer stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity.
  • Assist with daily tasks, including meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
  • Maintain up-to-date care plans and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with mental health and challenging behaviors, specifically self-harm.
  • Knowledge or good understanding of Jamaican culture.
  • Passion for supporting individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence.
  • Patient, caring, and understanding approach.
  • Ability to set clear boundaries.
  • Outgoing, engaging, and enthusiastic personality.
