Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with varying learning needs, providing essential support to those with behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive tailored support and provision
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school environment, particularly with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or complex learning and behavioural challenges
  • Strong understanding of effective behaviour management strategies and ability to adapt to diverse pupil needs
  • Passion for delivering quality support and making a positive impact on pupils' lives
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education
