About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maritime Consultant to join our team at the APEM Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your technical knowledge to analyze potential impacts to shipping and navigation from proposed operations/developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessments of navigational risk and author reports
  • Manage projects, escalating risks as necessary
  • Contribute to business development activities, including tender submissions
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in a maritime consultancy, regulatory or port environment
  • Relevant university degree (e.g. science, engineering, geography or risk/mathematics)
  • Maritime domain background (e.g. mariner, harbour master, VTS)
  • Excellent computer literacy and competency with MS office suite
  • Excellent report writing, English language and oral communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of the Port Marine Safety Code
  • Experience of co-ordinating or undertaking marine technical reports and navigation risk assessments
