Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of US General Liability Claims from first advice to settlement.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively handle a portfolio of US General Liability Claims from first advice to settlement across both Open Market and Binding Authority placements.
- Work under the direction and supervision of the Casualty Claims Manager, assisting with all aspects of Casualty Claims adjustment and associated administration reporting as needed.
- Interact with key internal and external stakeholders on claims-related matters.
- Servicing brokers and clients, providing prompt and efficient claim resolution, within clearly defined authority limits.
- Appoint and manage experts to assist in claim investigation and resolution as needed.
- Assist in the monitoring of key risk claims and trends by collating data and reports.
- Assist in providing regular feedback to senior management and Underwriters.
- Contribute to the strategy for the London Markets Claims Team and ensure its successful delivery.
- Help maintain strong relationships with the London Market Underwriters.
- 3-5 years of US-focused General Liability claims experience, with knowledge of how to use ECF and/or Sequel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good mathematical skills and report writing capabilities.
