Learning and Development Specialist

Role Overview:
The People Development Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and development within JD Group. As the primary point of contact for development initiatives, this role is responsible for scoping, designing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver performance-focused learning and development activities that engage audiences across the group, leveraging both virtual and face-to-face facilitated sessions.
- Collaborate with line managers to identify trends, improve team KPI delivery, and develop effective individual and team development activities.
- Conduct follow-up activities to ensure the impact of development interventions and inform further learning needs, driving continuous improvement of the People Development Offering.
- Provide individual and group coaching activities that focus on personal and professional development, both on and off development programs.
- Model a growth mindset within the organization by staying up-to-date with current Learning and Development theory and applying it effectively.
- Advocate for and build a learning culture within the group by sharing knowledge, facilitating social learning, and curating high-quality content to encourage self-directed learning.
- Ensure that all learning programs align with ILM Assured quality standards.
Role Objectives:

- Design learning interventions that produce results and are aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and provide evidence of ROI.

- Excellent computer literacy skills, including MS Office.
- An avid learner with a desire to progress personal and professional development and model a learning culture.
Training Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be qualified to Level 3 in Learning and Development by CIPD or hold equivalent qualifications.
