Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Specialist to join their team in Swadlincote on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves providing essential support to SEN children within an 'unofficial' resource base, led by an experienced SEN teacher.

Position: SEN Support Specialist
Location: DE11
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum

">About the Role:">
  1. Working closely with an experienced SEN teacher to provide tailored support to SEN children within the 'unofficial' resource base
  2. Supporting children ranging from Reception to Year 2 within the Infant school setting
  3. Implementing individualized strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional development
">Responsibilities:">
  • To provide high-quality support to SEN children, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
  • To work collaboratively with the SEN teacher and other professionals to develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
  • To maintain accurate records of progress and participation, using this data to inform future planning and interventions
