We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join Spectrum IT Recruitment (South) Ltd in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HDL coding, digital and analogue hardware interfaces, signal processing, algorithm design, and RTL coding.

Job Description:
  • HDL Coding: Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog is required for this role
  • Digital and Analogue Hardware Interfaces: Experience with designing interfaces between digital and analogue systems is essential
  • Signal Processing and Algorithm Design: Strong understanding of signal processing techniques and algorithm design principles is necessary
  • RTL Coding: Familiarity with Register-Transfer Level (RTL) coding is required for this position
  • FPGA and SoC Architectures: Knowledge of Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures is necessary
  • Hardware Debugging Tools: Experience with using hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes is required
  • C/C++ Programming: Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages is essential for this role
Estimate Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in C and C++
  • Proficiency in HDL coding (VHDL and Verilog)
  • Experience with digital and analogue hardware interfaces
  • Strong understanding of signal processing techniques and algorithm design principles
  • Familiarity with RTL coding and FPGA/SoC architectures
