Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team as a Client Service Manager. As a key member of our accounts department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing exceptional service to ensure their financial needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for your assigned clients, building strong relationships and providing expert advice on financial matters.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, year-end accounts, and other accounting and financial returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to help clients achieve their business goals.
  • Collaborate with the manager team to drive projects forward and ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to less experienced members of the team as required.
Requirements
  • Qualified AAT or qualified by experience with a strong background in accounting and financial services.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships and providing exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in using Sage, Xero, and associated apps, with experience in cloud-based accounting systems.
