About the Role

The London School of Management Education is a forward-thinking institution seeking an accomplished Healthcare Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching university-validated BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Management programmes.

As a key member of our faculty, you will be expected to develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops, while also creating assessment strategies and marking schemes for approval by the University.

You will work closely with students to identify areas requiring additional support and provide formative feedback, as well as overall summative assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will collaborate with staff and students to address issues concerning the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational content for health and social care management programmes.
  • Create assessment strategies and marking schemes for University approval.
  • Provide regular formative feedback and summative assessments to students.
  • Collaborate with Programme Leader and Principal to address student learning experiences.
  • Identify students requiring additional support and organise appropriate assistance.
Qualifications and Experience

A Master's degree in a Health and Social Care or Management related subject, or equivalent with teaching qualification, is required. Proven experience in teaching university programmes and working in Higher Education establishments is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £38,000 - £42,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a Disability Confident employer, we strive to create an inclusive environment that supports the needs of all staff and students.
