**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled SEMH HLTA to join our team in Harrogate. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and possess strong behaviour management skills.

**Job Description:**

The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to develop and implement IEPs, provide one-to-one and small group support to students, and assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Support the implementation of SEN policies and EHCPs
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress

**Requirements:**

An HLTA qualification or equivalent, strong understanding of SEMH needs, excellent behaviour management skills, and ability to build rapport with secondary age students.
