**Job Overview:**

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEMH HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to provide tailored support to secondary age students with SEMH needs in Harrogate.

**Job Description:**

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with SEMH needs and possess strong behaviour management skills. They will work collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver educational activities, implement behaviour management strategies, and assist in monitoring student progress.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Support the implementation of SEN policies and EHCPs

**Requirements:**

An HLTA qualification or equivalent, strong understanding of SEMH needs, excellent behaviour management skills, and ability to build rapport with secondary age students.
