Job Summary

The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Perinatal Lifestyle Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and compassion.

The successful candidate will work closely with the specialist midwife and wider public health team to deliver a new pathway related to maternal lifestyle behaviors during the perinatal journey for women and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with service users and the multi-disciplinary team to improve/protect health and wellbeing, with the aim of improving health for all, particularly the health of seldom heard families.
  • Focus on improving outcomes for women with modifiable risk factors such as obesity and support other behavioral changes such as smoking in pregnancy in collaboration with the wider specialist midwives.
  • Support the process to secure an increase in uptake of immunization (whooping cough/flu programmes & where required covid19 immunisations).

Salary: £43,041 - £70,738 per annum, depending on experience.
