Job Title: Senior Cost Assurance Consultant

At Turner & Townsend, we're passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a Senior Cost Assurance Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping us achieve this goal.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Cost & Supply Chain Assurance team. As a Senior Consultant, you'll work closely with our clients to review and scrutinize actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvement and efficiency across major programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver successful Cost Assurance commissions on behalf of Turner & Townsend
  • Lead and support junior team members in their development and growth
  • Contribute to the development of our service line through bid support and business generation
  • Take a lead in refining internal training and product management for the service line
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in assurance or audit, preferably in a construction or commercial setting
  • Strong understanding of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, disallowed cost areas, and contract management
  • Ability to assess accuracy and entitlement to cost, as well as change management and forecast control
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with experience in reviewing and drawing insights from large datasets
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages succinctly
  • Professional scepticism and the ability to challenge constructively to safeguard our services
Qualifications

You'll need:

  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • Professional body membership or equivalent (MRICS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
