Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our customers, performing routine maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites and perform routine maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, and other equipment.
  • Be an ambassador for Atlas Copco, promoting our brand and values to customers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, determining possible causes and performing repairs as needed.
  • Install and commission new equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
  • Document all work performed using company-provided hardware and software.
  • Develop relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products, including VSDs, refrigeration, and industrial networks.
  • Respond to customer needs, working to satisfy their expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on customer sites.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and be available for overtime as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical service.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving license or International Driving License (valid in the UK within 12 months).
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel throughout the region.
