About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employability Practitioner Apprentice. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the team to plan and deliver a range of activities that promote social education and empowerment among young people.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to ensure effective signposting and support for young people.
  • Support vulnerable adults and young people, providing them with access to programmes, services, and facilities that promote their well-being and development.
  • Assist in the management of programme logistics, including venue management, transport, food, and accommodation.
  • Raise safeguarding concerns and follow all policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of programme delivery, providing feedback and suggestions for enhancement.
  • Support the team in capturing and recording data and evidence from programme delivery.
  • Manage risk by assessing activities and environments, creating risk assessments to ensure the safety of all individuals.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the community organisation's youth service.
  • Produce regular case studies and contribute to positive marketing of youth work provision and the Youth Works Apprenticeship programme.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Employability or relevant experience.
  • Experience in planning and delivering educational youth sessions.
  • Experience in signposting young people to further opportunities.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and young people.
  • Competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of inclusive youth work practices.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of mentoring in a youth work context.
  • Commitment to Liverpool FC Foundation's mission and values.
What We Offer

This is a Fixed-Term Contract opportunity for an initial period of 26 months, working 35 hours per week, 5 days from 7, with some weekend work required. The role will be based at one of our community partners in Liverpool, with occasional travel to other locations across Merseyside and England and Wales.
