Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inflight Catering Assistant to join our team at RAF Brize Norton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained across designated sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety walks and supervise safety standards to ensure the well-being of our people and customers.
  • Deliver mandatory training and support additional training needs for front-line teams.
  • Manage attendance and absence, following policy and procedures to ensure effective force management.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and address HR issues in accordance with legislation and company policy.
  • Liaise with the control room team to resourcing planned activities, reactive, and ad hoc requests.
  • Visit sites across the region to conduct routine welfare visits for all staff.
  • Act as a first point of contact to address any issues that arise on site.

Requirements:

  • SIA Licence holder (Door supervisor and CCTV)
  • 3-5 years experience within the security industry and as a supervisor
  • Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems (Security)
  • Able to use computerised systems in operation within the security sector
  • Good understanding of CCTV, fire, and security systems
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative, individually, and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
