Job Overview

As an Inflight Catering Assistant at Sodexo, you will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team to provide excellent customer service to our Armed forces personnel. Your main responsibilities will include loading and unloading catering onto aircrafts, preparing catering items, driving on the airfield, and supporting both front and back of house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of catering onto aircrafts
  • Preparing catering items to be loaded onto aircrafts
  • Driving on the airfield
  • Working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Marshalling of the high lift
  • Liaising with military personnel
  • Support with both front and back of house operations
  • Support any enquiries or requests within the food and beverage areas
  • Assist with the cleaning operation for these areas
  • Support with any admin required and ensure all checklists and compliance is completed everyday
  • Interact with military personnel in regards to operational catering

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence required
  • Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
  • Basic food-handling skills - desirable
  • No previous experience required
