Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Supervising the setup and conducting all types of EMC tests, ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly and accurately.
  • Preparing test time estimates to support the quotation process, providing detailed and realistic timelines for clients.
  • Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities, driving innovation and excellence in EMC testing.
  • Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements, leveraging expertise to deliver customized solutions.
  • Recording product condition or behavior during and after test, creating concise and clear test records that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Working as part of a large team to coordinate testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults, maintaining a high level of technical expertise and ensuring equipment reliability.
  • Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work, providing expert guidance and support.


Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification, with a good understanding of physics and its applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical test experience in a controlled test environment, working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards.
  • Familiarity with testing, monitoring, and control instruments, including EMC test equipment and software.
  • Conscientious in attention to detail, accuracy, and record keeping, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
