Key Responsibilities of the EMC Test Engineer:

  • Establishing and executing diverse EMC assessments while ensuring adherence to testing protocols
  • Designing and implementing custom tests to satisfy unique specifications
  • Documenting product performance and behavior during and post-testing, and generating clear and concise test documentation
  • Collaborating within a large team to synchronize testing efforts and support the upkeep of testing facilities
  • Overseeing testing apparatus and reporting any discrepancies or malfunctions
  • Engaging with clients to comprehend and troubleshoot EMC test failures through detailed investigation

Candidate Profile for the EMC Test Engineer Role:

  • A degree in an engineering field or an equivalent qualification with a solid foundation in Physics
  • Extensive hands-on testing experience in a regulated testing environment adhering to Automotive or Aerospace standards
  • Proficiency with testing, monitoring, and control instruments
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and thorough record maintenance
  • Effective communication skills and confidence in client interactions
