Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Nirvana Managed Services. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and amenities of our school sites, ensuring that all necessary repairs and improvements are carried out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the buildings and amenities of the school, including all necessary repairs and improvements.
  • Monitor all works related to grounds maintenance, ensuring that specified standards are achieved and contract compliance is obtained.
  • Organise and supervise the work of the caretaking and cleaning staff on the school site, including arranging work schedules and monitoring cleaning duties.
  • Order supplies of cleaning materials and other caretaking materials.
  • Identify staff training needs, in order to achieve quality work and the most effective deployment and competence of staff.
  • Clean and test the swimming pool, requiring experience.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of building fire and health and safety regulations.
  • Practical maintenance ability and some knowledge of plumbing and electrics.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Administration and financial systems.
  • Contract and tendering process.
  • Operation of cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Site services and their location and isolation points.
  • Breakdowns, faults, and repairs identification and calling out of appropriate contractors.
