Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Concierge to join our team at St Mungo's. As a Night Concierge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight waking cover to ensure residents are safe and secure.
  • Deal with emergencies and provide first contact and safeguarding for clients at night.
  • Carry out regular health and safety checks, including monitoring the CCTV system.
  • Perform various administration tasks to support the smooth operation of the service.
  • Maintain a high standard of environment and ensure the cleanliness of the premises.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need good communication skills, an understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable people, and the ability to use your own initiative. Self-direction is essential, as you will be responsible for delivering the service at night without the physical presence of managers.

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable people.
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Flexibility to work a shift rota, including weekends and public holidays.
