We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction of 60 traditional build bespoke houses on a site in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day site activities to maximize profitability and client satisfaction while ensuring programme, Health and Safety, and Quality Control are upheld to the highest standards.
  • Implement and maintain SHE procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Coordinate subcontractors' Health and Safety, ensuring RAMs are in place prior to commencing work.
  • Monitor progress, assisting the Contracts Manager in reporting progress and managing works to the contract and target programmes.
  • Review construction drawings for build ability and compliance, ensuring a smooth flow of information to the supply chain.
  • Support and assist in negotiations with utility companies to ensure timely installation of incoming services.
  • Conduct works quality inspections and checks, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Manage commercial aspects, including understanding the project profit plan and implementing it accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain good communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of delivering new build housing schemes, preferably traditional build.
  • Confident and driven individual with the ability to self-motivate and take pride in their project.
