Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will work effectively as a member of a small multidisciplinary team, assessing patients and administering care, in conjunction with primary care staff and improving the management of mental health in Islington through education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and administer care in conjunction with primary care staff.
- Work effectively as a member of a small multidisciplinary team.
- Improve the management of mental health in Islington through education and training.
- Encourage service users to accept an optimum level of responsibility for their individual programmes of care.
- Collaborate with other care staff, relatives, and friends to achieve optimal care outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Mental Health Nursing.
- Evidence of Mental Health Training.
